You see- I can't do it all- work , write, look after house, husband, dogs, etc etc etc. Time slips through my fingers
But I had to come in and log that I am getting one of my short stories published!! Bioing, boing, boing... I'm boinging around the room....
now does that mean the publication is crap and they are desperate or that I am actually a good writer ???
Oh what the hell. I don't care..I'm getting published!!

So Suzanne, just exactly what has been keeping you so busy since September? I was just perousing some old comments on Da Flikkers and was reminded of you. The little details about the 'Swifts' were interesting.
I have always thought of the UK as wet, so no surprise there. A friend that grew up there before moving to the Southwest US, and just loves the sun, to a degree that she is slowly getting a 'leathered' look, says it rains a lot in England.
We discuss politics at times and I was surprised that PC'ness is infecting you as well. I love your little special words and descriptions of lifes moments. I also hope that you actually did have a Merry Christmas as well as are going to have a very Happy New Year.
Enjoy the coming spring. Treat it as you would have 'The Medieval Warm Period', when life was just 'Dovey' as my 'Brit' friend would say.
